954,516. Photo-electric camera exposure control. KAMERA UND-KINOWERKE DRESDEN VEB. May 18, 1961, No. 18152/61. Addition to 952, 331. Heading G2A. A camera in which a diaphragm and shutter speed ring rotate until a stop cam contacts a photoelectrically actuated galvanometer needle is provided with a changeover switch for daylight and artificial light exposures controlling cams which set the shutter to a fixed time and stop the galvanometer needle assuming its lower measurement ranges. For daylight exposures the change-over switch 35 is in the position where the marks "A" coincide. Depression of the camera release 44 allows a spring 39 to pull the setting ring 106 until the stepped edge 112 contacts the pointers 116 of galvanometer 23. Cam surfaces 105,107 set the aperture and exposure time respectively through plungers 4 and 8. For flashlight exposures the flash guide valve on scale 118 of switch 35 is set opposite the subject range on scale 119. This operates a plunger 37 through a cam 36, which holds the exposure time mechanism in its 1/30 sec position, and also a cam 33 which operates levers 30, 27 so that an arm 31 moves pointer 116 into a position which will set the correct aperture when setting ring 106 is arrested.
