[Also in Division B7] A vehicle mirror is carried by an arm 14, Figs. 1 and 3, journalled in a base member 10 securable at 12 to the vehicle, the arm having a radial pin 18 to engage in any one of a number of pairs of diametrically opposed grooves in an index plate 19 Fig. 2, held in a cavity in the base member, the pin being urged into the grooves by a spring 28. Washers 29 are interposed between the spring 28 and the wall of the cavity, and the spring and the pin.
