953,151. Coffee making devices. R.M.S. ELECTRONICS Inc. July 2, 1962, No. 25298/62. Heading A4D. A coffee-making device comprises integrally moulded e.g. plastics, concentric cylindrical shells 10, 14 interconnected by radial ribs 18, which support the device on the rim of a cup, and by a sloping wall 22 which forms a receiving basket 23 for hot water which gravitates through perforations in a resilient snap-fitted removable cover plate 25 on to coffee supported on a mesh filter 44 snap-fitted into a groove in the shell 14, brewed coffee dripping through into the cup C. The cover plate 25 may have either a flexible strap 40 connected to the outer shell 10, or a simple handle, to facilitate its removal, e.g. for washing out and re-charging the device.
