A box 1 for electrical accessories, such as switches, has insulating blocks 2 (adapted to receive cover-fixing screws) mounted for limited movement parallel to the sides and bottom of the box by means of U-shaped strips 8 fixed to the sides of the box as shown. Strips 8 retain the blocks 2 by co-operating with grooves therein (Fig. 3, not shown). Tapped holes 6 extend through the blocks 2. Slots 4 in the base of the box prevent electrical contact between the cover-fixing screws and the base of the box.
