A sealing collar for use in a floor 1 or partition in a building provided with an opening for the passage of a tube or rod 2 and having a lining 3, is formed of resilient material, such as a plastic, and includes an axially-extending sleeve-like portion 5 of a size to fit the clearance between the lining and the tube, and a radially extending portion 6 in which is an annular groove 7 adapted to engage the adjacent end of the lining, the circumferential lip provided by the radial portion being adapted, when in use, to enter into engagement with the floor. The axial distance x between the bottom of the groove 7 and the free edge of the lip 8 may be greater than the depth of the groove, and there may be an outer annular groove 9.
