[Also in Division B8] A two-diameter cup as shown in Fig. 4 has the lower portion of its larger diameter 23 curled in a curling die 26 by simultaneous downward movement of the presser 29 and sleeve punch 27 until the presser 29 and die mandrel 28 clamp the tang 21 of the cup as in Fig. 5; further movement of the sleeve punch 27 to the position as in Fig. 6 completes the forming of a sharp edge on the outer edge of the curl.
