Abstract

947,253. Packages. GILLETTE CO. March 20, 1962 [April 4, 1961], No. 10612/62. Heading B8C. A display device comprises a cardboard sheet 10 having a scored fold line 12 extending across it, spaced slits, Fig. 3 (not shown), extending down from the score line 12 to mark a removal area, and a transparent case 14 having a flange 15 adhesively secured to the sheet at a position where it overlaps the fold line wholly or in part. A blade magazine 16 in the case 14 may be removed together with the case by bending the sheet along the line 12, as shown in interrupted lines. The case flange may then be gripped and the case torn from the card. The top flange 15 of the case may be secured to the sheet over a limited area when the case 14 is torn from the card, slits 13, 18 limit the torn surface of the card which sticks to the case flanges. The case may be of methylmethacrylate or polystyrene.
