945,466. Packaging fragile articles. J. RAWLINGS. Jan. 8, 1960 [Oct. 23, 1958], No. 34011/58. Headings B8C and B8P. A fragile article 15 is surrounded by a unitary inflatable resilient sleeve 16 open at least at one end and housed within a rigid container 18. The sleeve may be secured to the walls of the container and has an inflating valve at 17. More than one sleeve may be used and the sleeve may be divided into compartments by apertured webs.
