A closure member for a circular orifice, made of a room-temperature-deformable plastics material comprises a head 1 with a boss 2 projecting from it. The end of the boss is swaged outwardly, as at 3, to hold a spring ring 5 in a groove 4. Projections 6 assist in keeping the ring 5 in the groove 4. When the closure member is inserted into the orifice 7, the ring 5 is compressed, and the resultant restoring force causes the ring to grip the wall of the orifice and prevent the member from falling out.
