Abstract

941,455. Core constructions. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELECTRISKA A.B. Feb. 13, 1962 [Feb. 14, 1961], No. 5439/62. Heading H2A. In an electrodynamic machine laminated core the main part 4 of the laminations are stacked together non-adhesively, while a number of laminations 3 at the core ends are mutually fixed by layers of adhesive between adjacent surfaces, the latter laminations thus constituting rigid end plates. As shown, a stator core is rigidly held under pressure within a casing 2 by a welded ring 5 and a resilient press ring 6, the end laminations 3 serving to distribute the pressure forces.
