Abstract

A device for spreading liquid or pulverulent material includes a nozzle with a divergent outlet in which is located a V-shaped partition 5, 6, so that the material issues as two divergent jets or a single divergent jet. The nozzle is secured to a compressed air conduit 2 and the material is fed to the nozzle via tubes 3, 9-12. The partition may comprise two pivoted plates, the angle between them being adjustable to vary the spread of the issuing material. In Fig. 7, the partition 30 is of wedge form and held in the nozzle 35 by a bolt passing through a hole 32.
