A collapsible vehicle has a wheeled base 1 sides 2 and a hinged lid 3 which rotates about stub shafts 4 into a position in which the floor levels are the same. A fabric canopy secured to the sides 2 and the lid 3 is supported on hoop-sticks 6-10 pivotally mounted on plates 28 rotatably mounted on the stub shafts 4. The horizontal upper members of the U-shaped hoop sticks 6-10 may be provided with three hinges so that they can be broken with a knee-joint action to reduce the storage space when closed and increase the internal space in the structure when opened out.
