Abstract
934,771. Conductor spacers. L. BLANCHET. May 19, 1961 [May 5, 1961], No. 18348/61. Class 36. In a spacer assembly for conductors in which channelled conductor holders 37a, 38a, &c., are mounted on rails 1a and 1b between end-pieces 41a, 42a, &c., bolted to the rails by doubleended bolts 60, the bolts are provided with a flange or nut 60a so that a part of the end-piece remains attached to one rail when the other is unbolted. In a further embodiment (Fig. 5, not shown) one layer of conductor holders is replaced by a single resilient member 72 which may be either snapped on to a rail or attached by dovetailed engagement with a profiled member of different shape (Fig. 7, not shown). A third embodiment (Fig. 10, not shown) relates to spacers with several superposed layers of conductors assembled together, with conductor holders of neighbouring layers snapped on to H-bars intermediate the layers or on to each other when of complementary shape (Fig. 9, not shown).
