Abstract

A composition giving moulded articles of improved physical properties is obtained by blending at least 80% polypropylene with 5 to 20% of a diene rubber having a gel content of at least 50%. Specified rubbers are natural rubber, copolymers of butadiene with styrene or acrylonitrile, polybutadiene and polyisoprene; the gel content having been obtained by cross-linking, e.g. with divinyl benzene, or by vulcanizing with sulphur, tetramethyl thiuram monosulphide, dithiocarbamate, aromatic thiazole, guanidine and/or an aldehyde amine.
