[Also in Group X] A lathing comprises a first sheeting 10, of for example paper, having elongated openings 12 arranged therein in a series of parallel rows, and two series of parallel wires 16, 14 respectively intersecting in a right angular relationship at said openings and welded together at their intersections, and an additional sheeting 20 adhesively secured to the first sheeting 10, the wires 14 being located between the sheetings 10, 20. The sheeting 20 may be of waterproofing or of waterproofing and insulating material, and may be of waterproofed paper or aluminium.
