[Also in Groups XXII and XXVIII] A thin walled metal tube is formed having a dumb-bell shaped cross-section so that it may be wound for ease of transportation into a helical coil of a smaller diameter than could a tube of circular cross-section having the same peripheral length. The tube on being unwound is expanded to produce a tube of substantially circular cross-section.
