A plunger having lands 19, 20, 21, Fig. 1, separated by grooves 18 is shuttled by pressure applied or exhausted at 11, 17 on piston end seals 28, 29 through sealing rings 22-27 clamped between body sections 1-7, the space between 22, 23 opening to exhaust, between 23, 24 to a motor port, 24, 25 to a pressure supply, 25, 26 to a motor port and 26, 27 to an exhaust, the rings comprising a clamped root 30, Fig. 3, from which diverge two plunger sealing arms 31, 32, so as to have a Y-shape cross-section.
