Abstract

931,341. Snap-action switches; hand actuating devices for switches. BUSCH-JAEGER DURENER METALLWERKE A.G. Jan. 29, 1960 [Jan. 29, 1959], No. 3221/60. Class 38 (5). In a switch assembly having a plurality of switches arranged side-by-side, pivoted operating members thereof are arranged to be restored jointly to the normal position by means of a pivotally-mounted web which underlies or overlies the operating members. The operating members 4 pivot about a spindle 3, about which the web 6 is also pivoted. In one form, the members 4 have projections 4a beneath the web which is operable by a button 8 secured to the web, Fig. 3. In a modification, Fig. 6, the button 8 is replaced by a member 9 similar to members 4 and having a projection 9a overlying the web. In a further arrangement, Fig. 7, the web 11 extends on both sides of the spindle 3 so as to underlie members 4 and is operable by a member 12 similar to member 9 of Fig. 6.
