In an oil-burner provided with a fuel atomizer and supplied with secondary air from a blast box 4 through a diffuser 6 encircling the cup masonry 3 of the burner, a ring 8 formed of flexible metal plate or of a number of separate segments is mounted in front of the inlet to the diffuser 6 on threaded rods 9 so that its position and form can be adjusted to ensure uniform air supply to the burner flame.
