Abstract
929,692. Gas sealed transformers. S. NAKAZAWA. May 11, 1961, No. 17238/61. Class 38 (2). An airtight expansible cell which is housed in a housing 18 and communicates with the nitrogen-filled space of an oil-immersed transformer for maintaining its pressure constant, is made out of rectangular and triangular metal plates shown spread out in Fig. 2, jointed together with flexible, gas-tight material such as vinyl resin, synthetic rubber or metal sheets. Front plate 1 may be fixed to an inner side of the housing 18 and back plate 7, borne on a wheel 21, is guided on rails 22. The size of the cell may be seen through slot P. Two or more cells may be enclosed in a common housing, Fig. 12 (not shown).
