Abstract

929,234. Sliding clasp fasteners. TADAO YOSHIDA. July 30, 1959 [Aug. 4, 1958], No. 26209/59. Class 44. A sliding clasp fastener includes a pair of stringers each of which comprises a stringer tape 3, a continuous element 2 woven as a warp thread into an edge of the tape, at least one pair of thick warp threads 6 adjacent to the continuous element and disposed on respective sides of the tape and a U-shaped cover-tape 7 for the thick warp-threads and continuous element integrally woven with the tape. A slider 5 is slidable over the elements, thick warp threads and tape. The elements may be of a different shape from each other.
