A motor driven reciprocating refrigerant compressor unit is resiliently supported within a two-part casing 1, 2, Fig. 1, by at least three helical compression springs 27, Fig. 3, only one of which is shown, each secured at opposite ends to pads 26, 28 of resilient material, e.g., neoprene adjustably secured by a screw bolt 25, to a lug 22 welded to the compressor casing 1 and by a bolt 29 to the compressor casting 4. A flexible oil pick-up pipe 15 carried by the driving eccentric 13 delivers oil through grooves 23 and posts 24.
