925,607. Latex-collecting cups. R. B. LULOFS. Aug. 31, 1959 [April 8, 1959], No. 11919/59. Class 66. [Also in Group XXV] A latex collecting cup is made from a pliant material such as rubber or polyvinyl chloride so as to be readily capable of being turned inside out but is of sufficiently rigid construction to maintain its shape when suspended from its rim full of latex and the surfaces of the cup (both inner and outer) being substantially smooth. The cup may have a circular mouth and a profile which tapers towards the bottom which may be flat, pointed or rounded. The cup may be provided with a lug upstanding from the rim of the cup which contains a horinzontal elongated slot. The cup hanger comprises a galvanised iron wine loop so that the looped end is upturned to form the hook and the free ends are turned away from the plane of the hook on the side thereof remote from the hook, said free ends forming spikes to be driven into the bark of the tree.
