A magnifying viewing device comprises a deformable body and at least one objective lens 1 and at least one eyepiece, said body (parts 8-11) being formed from a single flat blank and being adapted to be collapsed by digital pressure to assume a flattened configuration. Foldable side covers 18, 19 may be added.
