921,830. Drinking vessels; workboxes. B.E.F. PRODUCTS (ESSEX) Ltd. June 23, 1961 [Aug. 26, 1960], No. 29491/60. Classes 66 and 133. [Also in Groups I and XIV]. Articles such as drinking vessels, plates, trays, work boxes and flower pots moulded from a plastics material, e.g. polythene or polystyrene comprise a body portion, a patterned portion and a transparent portion, the patterned portion being secured between the body and transparent portions. In Fig. 1 a drinking beaker has an inner body portion 1 with a grooved rim 5 and an outer transparent portion 2 formed integrally with a handle 3 and having a flange at its upper edge adapted to engage in the grooved rim 5. The patterned portion secured between portions 1 and 2 during assembly comprises separate portions 4 and 4a. The base of the outer portion 2 may be formed with an annular flange or a series of spaced feet.
