Abstract
921,167. Moulding cores. B. J. R. CHRISTENSEN, and I. REFSHOLM. Aug. 2, 1960 [Dec. 17, 1959], No. 26675/60. Class 87(2). A core for making, e.g. a pipe bend, comprises parts 7, 8 one of which has a pivotally-mounted segmental part 13 which fills in the gap between the two tapered end faces 9, 10 when the core is in a moulding position. The part 13 is urged into this position by a spring 21 and is moved out of position by a lever 18. The core parts 7, 8 may be prevented from rotating in the mould by corresponding keys and grooves.
