Abstract

921,083. Magnetic pulse regeneration circuits. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Dec. 19, 1961 [Dec. 22, 1960], No. 45449/61. Class 40 (9). [Also in Group XL (c)] In a pulse regenerator having two stable states, and which, after receipt of an initiating pulse from a source 13, automatically passes from one state which may be preset by a pulse from a source 11 to the other while at the same time generating a pulse in a load 5 and comprising a transistor 4 having positive feedback between the base and collector electrodes due to windings 3, 8 on a core 1 of rectangular loop hysteresis material whereby the build-up of the collector current through winding 3 in response to an initiating pulse continues the build up to cause magnetic saturation in the reverse direction in the core, a second core 18 of low remanance material and having windings 20, 21, provides additional positive feedback to reduce the switching time.
