[Also in Group XXV] In a support for a container of blood plasma or intravenous feeding solution a tube 11 is suspended from a ceiling track 10 and carries within it a slidable rod 12 having at its lower end a support 13 for the container 14, the rod having notches or grooves engageable by a latch lever 40 to provide height adjustment. The grooves are frusto-conical so that the support may be raised without operating the latch.
