919,497. Manifolding stationery. MOORE BUSINESS FORMS Inc. April 28, 1959 [June 30, 1958], No. 14371/61. Divided out of 919,496. Class 16. The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 919,496, but the claims are directed to a continuous manifolding assembly comprising a plurality of superposed record and transfer strips secured together along one marginal edge, wherein a longitudinally extending area of at least some of the strips adjacent said edge are provided with slits 45 extending transversely of said area at longitudinally spaced intervals and arranged to afford sufficient flexibility to prevent permanent distortion and misregistry of the strips as, for example, the result of folding the assembly or feeding it round the cylindrical platen of a typewriter or the like. Preferably, the slits are arranged diagonally of said area.
