Abstract

916,612. Electrically released switches. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON. Nov. 4, 1959 [Nov. 14, 1958], No. 37459/59. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XXXVI] In an electrically released switch, resilient portions 11, 12 on pin contacts 7b, 8a are mechanically connected and spring-urged towards an inflexible contact 8b. They are held in the position shown in Fig. 3 by a fuse wire 13 connected between the pin 7b and an inflexible contact-pin 7a. When the fuse blows, the portion 12 electrically engages the pin 8b to complete an alarm circuit and the link 18 moves from a position where it was visible through a transparent portion 22. Portion 11 comprises a helical spring 20 soldered to the pin 7b and to a rigid portion mounted on a lug 19, and portion 12 also comprises a helical spring. The casing comprises two parts having finger grips.
