Abstract

916,483. Idler roller assemblies for endless belt conveyers. MINING ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. Aug. 14, 1961 [Oct. 20, 1960; June 7, 1961], Nos. 35988/60 and 20498/61. Class 78 (1). To prevent a troughing idler assembly from swing- ing out of the plane containing two pillars 27, depending rods 29 are attached to coupling links 14 and pass freely through holes in the base 28. To limit the maximum troughing angle, a projection 31 is secured to one or each rod 29 and engages the top of the base 28 when the maximum permitted troughing angle has been reached. The roller assembly is as described in Specification 872,266.
