[Also in Groups XXXV and XXXVI] A flameproof casing comprising two compartments separated by a common boundary wall contains electrical equipment, such as switches, interconnected electrically by a multicore flameproof cable led through the common wall by a flameproof fitting (see Group XXXVI). The casing may be built up of separate units bolted together, the common wall being constituted by the face-to-face walls of the units.
