912,612. Signal lamps. LAMP MANUFACTURING & RAILWAY SUPPLIES Ltd. Feb. 11, 1960 [Nov. 12, l958], No. 36413/58 Classes 39 (2) and 75 (4). [Also in Group XXXVIII] A signal lamp adapted selectively to show one of a group of colour indicators, e.g. red, green or white, includes a rocking lever 9 associated with a quadrant 10, links 11, 12 pivoted to the quadrant and connected to pivoted arms 13, 15 carrying colour filters 14, 16 so that movement of the lever 9 in one direction brings the filter 14 into operative position and movement in the opposite direction brings the filter 16 into operative position. In the central position of the lever 9 both filters are inoperative. Leaf springs 24, 25 may be provided to facilitate movement of the arms 13, 15 and a further leaf spring 20 carried by the casing has a protuberance co-operating with depressions 21, 22, 23 on the quadrant 10 which serve to hold it in any one of the three positions. The device may be in the form of a separate unit which can be mounted between the lamphouse and the lens carrier of a hand lamp.
