[Also in Group I] An implement for gripping a bull's nose, or the nose-ring through its nose, comprises a rod 3 having at its end two gripping members 6, 7, one fixed, the other pivoted at 9 and movable by means of a handle 14 through a rod 12 of adjustable length. When in the gripping position the handle 14 is held by the engagement of a lug 18 with a spring-pressed catch 19, which may be released by pressure on its other end. The rod 3 may have a rubber handle 22 and a ring 23 for the attachment of a rope.
