A track system for toy vehicles comprises an inner travel direction reversing track 3, an outer travel direction reversing loop 2 and intermediate track portions located between and connectible to the inner and outer track portions, the inner and intermediate track portions being subdivided into two sections A and B movable relative to each other selectively into a first position for interconnecting all of the track portions to an endless track system and into one or more other positions for interconnecting selected intermediate track portions only to form an endless track system of only the respective interconnected intermediate track portions. Each track comprises two rails or two grooves in a base plate 1. The vehicle either follows a continuous spiral path reversing its direction of travel through the loop 3 or section 2 or by moving one section relatively to the other to align different tracks the vehicle describes a circular path the diameter of which is varied by selectively aligning the tracks.
