Abstract

907,131. Hoppers' discharges. KABUSHIKI KAISHA HOSOKAWA TEKKOSHO. Nov. 23, 1960, No. 40330/60. Class 78 (1). Powder from hopper 1 is controllably discharged to outlet 3 by means of container 2 which is vibrated. Normally the powder rests on container 2, which, when vibrated, discharges the material. Vibrator, Fig. 3.-The container 2 is carried by springs 29 secured at 27 to the casing and carries the armature 32 of electromagnetic vibrator 28, which is carried at 27 by the frame. When the material in container 2 is vibrated by the vibration of the armature 32, the material overflows the walls of the container and falls down through apertures 26 and is discharged at 3.
