Abstract
905,882. Nuclear power plant. SULZER FRERES S.A. July 7, 1961 [Aug. 29, 1960], No. 24716/61. Drawings to Specification. Class 39 (4). In a nuclear power plant the reactor provides two separate supplies of heating media which respectively evaporate and superheat the primemover working medium. The two media may be heavy and light water or diphenyl may be used for the superheating medium. The evaporation and superheating is effected in heat exchangers. The flow of the media through the reactor is automatically controlled so as to maintain constant the temperatures at which the media enter and leave the reactor. The temperature and pressure of the working medium is automatically regulated prior to entry into the prime-mover.
