[Also in Groups XXV and XXXVI] A coupling for connecting a member 12 to a beam 4 comprises a bracket 2 having a curved knife edge portion 10, secured to beam 4 by a clamp 3, and a complementary knife-edge portion 15 in a bracket 13 pivotally connected to member 12 by a pin 20. Portion 10 is formed in a part 9 arranged between parallel triangular webs 6, 7, on bracket 2, and is of concave circular arc form along its length, and knife edge 15 is of corresponding convex form. In a modification knife-edge portion 10 is formed on a hook integral with bracket 2, the hook being closed by a spring-urged mousing piece.
