Abstract
A non-scale-forming component, which forms parts of a magnetic circuit, e.g. an armature component or other rotatable part of a machine which becomes heated (see Group XXXVIII), and which co-operates with a magnetic monitoring means responsive to changes in form or movement of the component, has a constant permeability, with or without a maximum possible resistivity to reduce eddy currents, at temperatures of up to at least 500 DEG C. and at field strengths of up to at least 100 mOe, and comprises a chrome-iron alloy containing by weight:- <TABS:0900701/II/1>
