Abstract

899,225. Wall plugs. CONSTRUCTIONAL ACCESSORIES (ISLE OF MAN) Ltd. June 22, 1960 [July 1,1959; Oct. 20, 1959], Nos. 22545/59 and 35461/59. Classes 44 and 89(1). A securing means comprises a reinforced resin tube 1 having slits at 5, and a bolt 2 having a ball or tapered head which expands the tube as it is drawn through the latter. The head may be replaced by a tapered nut, into which a stud is screwed. The reinforcement of: the resin tube comprises fibre, paper, cloth or the like, and end of the tube may have a lead-in for the bolt head or nut.
