898,563. Blasting. MACMILLAN, W.R. July 1, 1959 [July 3, 1958], No. 10775/58. Class 60. A shot blast impeller wheel assembly comprises a control cage 11 and rotary accelerator 7 within the cage which are each provided with a cylindrical sidewall extending towards the shot feed input, the sidewall of the accelerator having an inner surface 9 which is tapered away from the shot feed input. The control cage 11, which has a triangular aperture 12, is angularly adjustable. The accelerator 7 has apertures 10.
