Class 52(2) A bed chair has a supporting frame consisting of legs 10, 11 joined by rails 12, 14, 15, 16, and arms 13 and subframes 20, 24, 28 supporting cushions 17, 18, 19, the frame 28 forming the back of the chair and having metal rollers 30 engaging in channels 27 in the main frame and frame 24 having laterally projecting rollers 26 also engaging in channels 27. The third subframe 20 forming the seat or a leg rest has foldable legs 21, 22 and is connected to frame 24 by a hinge 23 and guide struts 25 so that frame 24 may lie beneath it in inverted position.
