Class 73 [Also in Group XIX] A graduated flexible sealing strip is made of polyvinyl chloride with a permanently active adhesive substance applied to one surface and is graduated in colour tints, degrees of opacity, units of length or units of volume. The strip is suitable for applying to chemical apparatus such as burettes or pipettes, manometers and volumemeasuring apparatus, and is resistant to a wide range of chemicals. Other materials may be used in place of polyvinyl chloride. A method of printing the strip to ensure accuracy is also described.
