Class 52(2) In a vehicle seat, the inclination of the backrest frame 2 about pivot 21 is varied by altering the length of extensible link 10, 12. Rotation of handle 19 is transmitted, by helical reduction gears in housing 17, to rod 12 which is in screwthreaded engagement with fixed nut 11. The construction of the seat frame 4 is described in detail.
