Abstract

A xerographic toner consists of coloured particles of size between 1 and 20 microns and including 5 to 10% of colouring agent (e.g. carbon black, nigrosine, Calco black or oil red) admixed in a copolymer prepared from a blend of a monomer <FORM:0893332/IV (a)/1> wherein R is H, Me, Et or Pr, containing 5 to 50% of ethyl, propyl or butyl methacrylate. In examples the copolymers are obtained by suspension polymerization and subdivision of the coloured compositions is effected in a jet pulverizer.
