893,135. Endless conveyers for use in mines. UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION. June 16, 1959, No. 20532/59. Class 78 (1). A train of wheeled scraper conveyers 10, connected together by couplings 12, is attached to a remotely-controlled mining-machine (not shown) which bores a hole 14 shaped as shown in Fig. 2, and each conveyer is provided with inclined steel wing members 38 which extend outwardly from the conveyer as far as the edges of the horizontal section 24 of the roof of the hole 14 in order to direct falls from the roof on to the conveyer.
