Abstract

892,640. Packages; cartons. BINNEY & SMITH Inc. May 13, 1960, No. 16930/60. Classes 18 and 94(1). A reclosable plastic bubble package comprises a transparent plastic portion 38 inserted into the aperture 44 of a frame 14 which preferably after the contents has been inserted is stapled at 49 to a base 12. A tongue 16 on the frame engages the lip portion 46 to close the package, the tongue being withdrawable about its hinge 34 to permit the contents, e.g. crayons, to be removed. In another embodiment, Figs. 5-7 (not shown), projections on the lip 46 engage recesses in the flap 16 to retain it closed.
