Class 75(1) The flow of fuel to a burner (not shown) from a tank in which a constant level is maintained by a float valve, is controlled by a metering valve 1, and a weir comprising an open ended tube 2 leading to the burner prevents the fuel level dropping below the metering orifice 3 of the valve. The weir may be formed in a well attached to the constant level tank or in the burner head.
