887,421. Delivering extruded products. COGLIATI, L. Jan. 22, 1960, No. 2485/60. Class 87(2). A supporting and delivery device for extruded products, e.g. tubes comprises a plurality of belts, 14, 15, running over wheels 31 driven by a single device, and being radially displaceable for different sized extrusions. The belts 14, 15 are driven by ball-jointed telescopic shafts 36, 47 rotated by worm and wheels from a shaft 39 and a shaft 10 under the control of a variable speed drive to accommodate different extrusion speeds. The belts are supported on frames 16, which may have supports, e.g. rollers, on the bearing side of the belts and the frames 16 are adjustable radially by the action of screwed pins 21 on blocks 19 attached to the frames 16. The blocks may be in two spring loaded pieces, Fig. 5 (not shown), to provide a resilient pressure on the extrusion and the pins 21 are simultaneously rotated by means of chain driven wheels 25 and a hand control wheel (as best seen in Fig. 2 (not shown)). Any number of belts may be provided, more than one belt may be on each wheel 31 and the belts may be profiled chains.
