Abstract
885,153. Toothed gearing. BOSCH G.m.b.H., ROBERT. Oct. 21, 1959 [Oct. 24, 1958], No. 35607/59. Class 80 (1). A gear-wheel comprises two stamped metal discs 1, which are in direct contact with one another and are non-detachably secured to a shaft 4, and a part 5 of synthetic resin which is injection moulded around the discs 1 and the end of the shaft and forms gear teeth 6. The discs 1 may be octagonal with their circumferences mutually offset so that their rim undulations overlap. Alternatively, the rims may have undulations of the forms 8, 9 or 10, Fig. 4, or holes may be provided as shown in sector 11. At least part of the outer disc edges extend into the zone of the tooth roots to facilitate the conduction of heat from the synthetic resin gear rim.
